Some people might have seen on the news the flooding in brisbane followed by a cyclone. Well, after it went through brisbane the rain it carried came all the way down to where I live. Quite scary actually, the storm had gone on all night, and when everyone got up in the morning, the power was off. Not only that but the backyard was so flooded it was about 2 inches away from coming inside. The garage wasn't so lucky, it had water inside and thats what caused the power to go off. Strangely enough the way our house is built the water from the back all drained down the side and came out the front of the house and down the hill, though it made a small waterfall in doing so. I'll have to put some pictures up eventually my mum took a few of our house along with the creak just down the road.

My Onigiri Kitty plushie, something made completely from scratch. I've decided to make more of these sorts of things, sewing is quite fun XD. Hopefully I'll be able to sell this guy and a few others once they're all made.
